Young ropers are gearing up for an eventful weekend at the Plaza Hotel & Casino for the RopeSmart Kids’ Rope for the World Dummy Roping. Taking place December 12-14, the dummy roping is held for kids ages 12 & under, has three age groups, and is free to register.

Awards will include:

  • Legend Tack & Silver Buckles
  • Wrangler & Boot Barn Gift Certificates
  • Sutton Ropes
  • RopeSmart Gift Certificates

and more.

“It’s pretty cool to watch the future of team roping evolve in the new generation of young ropers”, said Ty Miller, Pro Rodeo Announcer and the announcer of the Rope for the World Dummy Roping. “This will be my 6th year announcing the event, and each year brings a new set of skills and talents that has been incredible to watch”.

There’s still time for kids to register online, and they are able to practice all week long at the RopeSmart South Point booth (aisle #1400) on the 3 in 1 Smart One Ground dummy, which they will be using the day of the event.
