We would like to welcome Brit Ellerman, our newest Pro- Level RopeSmart Sponsor Team Member, to our group. We are super excited about this young twenty-three-year-old man. Although, so young in age Brit Ellerman is no newcomer to this industry. He comes from a long line of team ropers in his family. He has been around horses and livestock his entire life. His roping skills started very early on in the arena.
With many accomplishments already to his credit. Just to name a few in 2011 he won the High School National Champion Header title. In 2015, he won the Central Rocky Mountain Regional Champion Header title, Pikes Peak or Bust Champion Header title and he also qualified two times for the College National Finals Rodeo. Brit is currently traveling down the road with his travel partner Dustin Searcy of Oklahoma, in hopes of qualifying for the Rookie title in the PRCA. His passion for roping drives him to become an elite header in his PRCA future.
Along with his passion in team roping, he has other interest in the leather business. He is a part-owner in Texas Saddlery. They manufacture custom saddles, wallets, belts, briefcases, notebooks, reins and other custom made tack.
With all the success Brit entitles, he remains strong in his faith. We asked him what would be the one bit of advice you would share with other fellow ropers trying to go down the road? His reply was “Keep praying, keep believing, and Keep after your goals”. “Because you just might be one more day away from being right where you need to be”.
We also asked him what his equipment preference was in the arena. His reply was “He prefers to use the Blue Viper Bands”. He stated that “ when tenths of a second can make the biggest difference in your run, it gives me peace of mind knowing that my rope is going to grab the horn” and “that the Blue Viper bands are great for that and better than the traditional rubber’s out there”.
We here at RopeSmart want to wish Brit Ellerman much success down the road, in and out of the arena. We are very excited about our newest team member and are looking forward to following his road to success!
